1) I will imitate Jay Walker's TED video titled English Mania.
2) 0:18 - 1:14
3) I chose this because I am interested in his speaking style, which is very clear.
4)
5) Here's the transcript.
Let's talk about manias.
Let's start with Beatle mania:
hysterical teenagers,
crying, screaming, pandemonium.
Sports mania:
deafening crowds,
all for one idea -- get the ball in the net.
Okay, religious mania:
there's rapture, there's weeping,
there's visions.
Manias can be good.
Manias can be alarming.
Or manias can be deadly.
The world has a new mania.
A mania for learning English.
Listen as Chinese students practice their English
by screaming it.
This website is for students to post their CAD or Dramatic English Imitation content. For CADs, post your outline. For DEIs, please post your ◇1) video's title and speaker name, ◇2) which part of the video you will imitate such as (00:34~01:29), ◇3) your main reason(s) WHY you decided to choose this video and part, ◇4) the embedded video window or link, and ◇5) a transcript of the words. ◇Have fun choosing, practicing, and performing your presentation or imitation!

(Sample) Mark's CAD Outline on Commercial Surrogacy
Note: Make sure your subject line above has your name and topic like the sample above!
Then, type the 5 things below.
Name: Mark Christianson
I. Topic: Commercial Surrogacy:
II. Issue: Should a woman (=a surrogate mother) be allowed to receive money to bear the baby of another person? This is becoming common in India.
III. Argument: Commercial surrogacy should be legalized in Japan because
IV. Reasons:
1) More infertile couples can get a child with their own DNA,
It is better to make it available to more people by legalizing it
2) Surrogate mothers can earn money and be protected by law.
Right now, the laws are unclear. Accidents, problems can happen.
V. Three Discussion Questions
-----------------------
1. Do you have any questions about my opinion?
2. Do you agree?
3. Should surrogacy be voluntary or commercial? What do you think?
